Fa'il Libya

A specialized training program on the design and management of cultural projects in the Libyan context, launched by the Sixth Share Foundation in collaboration with the Libyan Cultural Policy Lab, with the aim of supporting cultural actors and equipping them with the knowledge and practical tools necessary to develop cultural projects more closely aligned with the needs of society.

The workshop was held in Benghazi over five consecutive days, with the participation of 11 trainees—cultural actors involved in projects and initiatives aimed at Libyan society—who come from diverse artistic and cultural backgrounds.

It focused on developing skills in cultural project design by addressing the planning stages, identifying community needs and priorities for cultural intervention, as well as discussing the legal frameworks governing cultural work, available funding opportunities, and understanding the regional and global contexts of cultural work from a critical perspective.

It also provided a space for dialogue and the exchange of experiences among participants, with the aim of enhancing their ability to build sustainable cultural projects with a genuine social impact.

The program was partially based on the “Fa’il” workshop methodology designed by Action For Hope.
