Exhibition 2024

Taxi & Coffee

Routine, the state of the country, and the days of war

Has youth life changed after the war — or become memories of a beautiful past and an unknown future?

About the exhibition

Routine, the state of the country, and the days of war

The comic is inspired by the collective experience of young people from Benghazi after the war ended, shedding light on their dreams, what could have been, and where they are now. As a pixel artist, I believe this is a unique addition to this kind of project.

Executing the comic in pixel art reinforces the feeling of nostalgia for a time gone by. The project encourages the reader to reflect, look back, and look forward — acting as a lens on the future that may inspire a change of path in life through creativity toward a better tomorrow.
