The exhibition is part of a series of art exhibitions that highlight the challenges facing Libya’s art community, based on the belief in the role of art and artists in contributing to the advancement of society and building a well-documented culture that reflects the community’s identity and values.
The exhibition featured works by artists from diverse artistic backgrounds, including digital art, oil painting, multimedia art, and conceptual art, in an effort to bridge the knowledge gap and create a platform for artistic expression and cultural exchange within the city of Benghazi.
The exhibited works also reflected a diversity of styles and techniques, highlighting the artists’ resilience and ability to create despite the challenges posed by the artistic and cultural hiatus, and contributed to opening a dialogue on the importance of art in strengthening cultural identity and its role in building bridges of communication within society.
The exhibition took place over three consecutive days, hosted by the Berenice University of Architecture and Urbanism, bringing together artists and art enthusiasts in a cultural experience aimed at supporting the art scene and fostering dialogue and creativity.
