About the album
Fulan's debut collaborative EP 'Keif Nshoof Eshams — كيف نشوف الشمس' is a story that takes place in a bleak, half-destructed city in the middle of the night. The story follows the protagonist's diaries as he traverses through the ruins of his own mind and city, trapped in the dust of chaos and unable to make sense of his surroundings and inner conflicts; his objective is to witness the sun. Forced in the stillness of the night to hear and push back on darker thoughts, it only took him a sincere moment of reflection and patience to finally witness the sun rise at dawn.
The record is separated into two main acts (and a third transitional one) that narrate the themes of frustration, helplessness, reminiscing, and finding acceptance respectively.
